Historical Background

St Mary’s Mother and Child Hospital (SMH) was started in the year 2004 as a small outpatient clinic at Bishop Njenga complex in Kiambu town. It has grown with time from seeing around 5 patients in a day to over 100 patients a day currently. The hospital bed capacity currently is 35, which includes male, female, surgical and pediatric wards.
We Specialize in Obstetrics & Gynecology, but are also competent to handle all other general medical and minor surgical conditions requiring specialized care.
We are currently operating three branches within Kiambu County where all general medical and surgical consultation services are offered on a 24-Hour basis and at affordable rates..
